City to visit
  • CHIERI
The closest town to the hotel is Chieri, on the hills of Turin. The ancient core of the city has a typical medieval imprint, both in the circular plan with radial roads that radiate from the Cathedral, and in the architecture of numerous buildings.

In the Middle Ages it was known as 'the City of the Hundred Towers', which belonged to noble families and today incorporated into other buildings or lost. It is a well-known pilgrimage destination in the places related to the life of St. John Bosco, but it is also known for the nearby Martini & Rossi plant (right in the historic headquarters of production you can participate in several fascinating activities such as masterclasses on mixology and visit the two museums dedicated to the brand), and for a small Jewish Ghetto of great historical interest dating.

Other places of interest to visit in Chieri: Chieri Cathedral, Triumphal Arch, Textile Museum, Church of San Giorgio Martire.
  • TURIN
From the hotel you can get to Turin either from the north, crossing the suggestive hills between Turin and Chieri, or from the south with the motorway, along the Po.

Let yourself be conquered by the elegant Piedmontese capital, a city of history, art and taste, which will enchant you with its arcades, immense squares, Roman districts and Savoy palaces. Starting from the evocative historic center, where you can admire the iconic Piazza Vittorio overlooking the Po, the Gran Madre with its stately square and the hill behind, the unmistakable network of Roman streets, the Mole Antonelliana and the two most prestigious squares of the city - Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo, connected by the central artery of Turin shopping, via Roma.

In this small portion of the city alone, countless places of historical, artistic and cultural interest are concentrated, visited by millions of tourists from all over the world:
    - the Royal Pole, consisting of the Royal Museums and the Royal Palace, the first and most important of the Savoy residences in Piedmont, with its lush gardens.
    - the Cathedral of Turin, or Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista, a splendid example of religious architecture between Baroque and Renaissance, where the Holy Shroud is kept.
    - the Egyptian Museum, the oldest museum in the world entirely dedicated to Egyptian culture, second only to that of Cairo in value and quantity of the finds
    - Palazzo Carignano, one of the most evocative and imposing palaces of the Italian seventeenth century, which was the seat of the first Parliament of the Kingdom of Italy.
    - the iconic Mole Antonelliana, which houses the innovative Cinema Museum, among the most important in the world for its rich heritage and the variety of its scientific and educational activities.

And it's just the beginning! From the center there are endless roads to discover a magical and refined Turin, home to important cultural and social events, but also a witness to the great glories of the past and guardian of incredible success stories in the industrial, cultural and artistic fields.

Other places of interest to see in Turin: the Lingotto complex, Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GAM), Museo di Arte Orientale (MAO), Museo dell'Automobile, Museo Lavazza, Palazzo Madama, Teatro Regio di Torino, Quadrilatero Romano, Villa della Regina, Porta Nuova, and the Reggia di Venaria Reale (20 minutes from Turin).

Some of the major cultural events with international appeal that take place annually in Turin: Salone del Libro, Torino Film Festival, Terra Madre-Salone del Gusto, Torino Jazz Festival, Artissima, Torino Graphic Days and Digital Days.
  • ASTI
What to do, see and eat in Asti? First of all, we are in one of the most characteristic towns in Piedmont, famous for its medieval architecture, towers, the Palio and wines. Reachable in half an hour from the hotel, Asti is the perfect destination for a day trip.

Some things to see in Asti:

Historical palaces and museums: Palazzo Mazzetti (seat of the Pinacoteca di Asti and the Civico Museum), Palazzo Alfieri (barcoque residence of the poet Vittorio Alfieri), Palazzo Ottolenghi (seat of the Museo del Risorgimento), Palazzo del Michelerio (ancient monastery of the second half of the sixteenth century, headquarters of the Paleontological

Churches and sacred places: Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and San Gottardo (Duomo di Asti), Collegiate Church of San Secondo (hotic church among the oldest in Asti), Crypt and Museum of Sant'Anastasio (with the remains of the Romanesque church), Baptistery of San Pietro with the church, the Cloister and the Rotunda
  • LANGHE, ROERO AND MONFERRATO
The Hotel Cascina Speranza is a privileged location for visiting the lands of Roero, Monferrato and Langhe, destinations renowned above all for food and wine tourism and for the numerous ancient villages, castles and historic buildings that dot the Piedmontese hills. A territory not by chance included among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, characterized by wine landscapes unique in the world.

The Langhe include on the one hand the soft hills intensely cultivated with vines (Bassa Langa), on the other the valleys and small fortified villages on top of the hills (Alta Langa). Roero is named after an ancient family that ruled the fief for centuries. These are lands divided into many small fiefs, and this explains the presence of numerous castles and fortifications.

Monferrato is part of the provinces of Asti and Alessandria and is home to the Infernòt (old wineries carved directly into a rock similar to tuff), Barbera and Asti spumante.

The territories of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato are places rich in historical testimonies, but they are also the heart of the food and wine culture of Piedmont, as well as a unique territory for agri-food productions known and envied all over the world. In the Piedmontese hills, in addition to producing wines of excellence, there are the fine white truffles, to which a national fair is dedicated every year in Alba.
